Deep Affectionate Eyes

Synopsis

After failing to reach the career success she hoped for in her 30s, Ye Meng (Zhang Yu Xi) quits her job and returns to her hometown, where she plans to live a slower, small-town lifestyle. She isn't looking for a relationship, but meets Li Jin Yu (Bi Wen Jun), a mysterious man with a cold exterior but a kind, affectionate gaze. Ye Meng helps Jin Yu open up as they get to know each other, and they gradually fall in love. However, their relationship is put to the test when Ye Meng learns that Jin Yu's family is linked to her mother's illness and death from several years ago. This time, Jin Yu must support Ye Meng – will she be able to heal her unresolved trauma, or will Jin Yu's presence only make things harder for her? This drama was adapted from the web novel "Shen Qing Yan" by Er Dong Tu Zi.
