Royal Upstart Season 1

Synopsis

After a freak accident transmigrates Xiao Ning into the Great Jing Dynasty as the disgraced live-in son-in-law of the Su family, he revolutionizes the empire with forgotten arts, transforming tea into ambrosia and turning wine into liquid gold. As commoners clamor for his creations, he shatters conventions by founding the realm's first newspaper, rallying geniuses to empower a princess's political ascent. When merchant queens sneer and his former wife scorns him, Xiao Ning wields commerce as his blade-severing deep-rooted prejudices while carving a legend from scorn.
